#INTEL CENTRINO WIRELESS N WIMAX 6150 VS N 1000 HOW TO#
I am assuming that if I can connect at work fine with no issues then it can't be my wireless card correct? It has to be some sort of software issue maybe? Anyone out there run into the same issue or have some insight into how to fix this? I build/work on computers a lot so this is really throwing me all out of sync with how to take care of this issue. My other laptops never seem to have the same wireless connectivity issue at all. I have multiple laptops and have figured that it is not my wireless router or my service at home that is the issue. Yet, when I bring the laptop to work with me the wireless works fine and doesn't give me the little yellow exclamation point icon. This happens every once in a while for some odd reason. I have tried reinstalling drivers, doing system restores, disconnecting and reconnecting to the network, and nothing has worked.

At home I am getting the wireless icon in the system tray with the exclamation sign telling me I cannot access the internet. The only issue I seem to be having is wireless connectivity. For the most part this laptop has been pretty awesome with gaming.

I have the first generation Alienware M14x.
